Crochet
To make (a piece of needlework, a garment, etc) by looping and intertwining
thread with a hooked needle (crochet hook)
Knit
To make (a garment, etc) by looping and entwining (yarn, esp. wool) by hand
by means of long eyeless needles (knitting needles)
Weave
To form (a fabric) by interlacing (yarn, etc), especially on a loom
Quilt
(To make) a thick warm cover for a bed, consisting of a soft filling
sewn between two layers of material
Spin
To make (yarn) by drawing out, twisting and winding fibers
Embroidery
Decorative needlework done usually on a loosely woven cloth or
canvas, often being a picture or pattern
Tatting
An intricate type of lace made by looping a thread of cotton or
linen by means of a hand shuttle
